The Scott family started in business in 2001 by distributing cigarettes around the state of New Hampshire. The company was named East West Distributors. Just a year later, they opened the first retail store, with several others following in the years ahead.
The Scotts were among the first in New Hampshire to make roll-your-own (RYO) cigarettes and supplies available, quickly becoming the largest tobacco distributor in the state. East West Distributors grew rapidly and eventually moved to a 21,000 sq/ft facility in Hampton, NH.
Eventually, the Scotts grew East West Distributors and sold it along with the retail locations. As 2nd generation Scotts began building their own businesses, it was only a matter of time before the opportunity arose to combine the knowledge passed down by the 1st generation.
The ability to constantly evolve with markets and bring customers the most current trends has always been the Scott family's way of doing business, a perfect fit for the ever-changing smoke shop industry.
In 2014, the decision was made to rebrand as Smokers Haven, bringing together distribution knowledge, real-estate expertise, and retail passion to create an excellent, uniform experience across all stores. Since then, Smokers Haven has heavily invested in technology to scale operations, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.
